Antonio Pappano and Santa Cecilia Orchestra Concert, Beijing
Antonio Pappano is a British conductor and pianist of Italian parentage. He is the youngest conductor to lead the orchestra of the Royal Opera House in London, accompanying both the Royal Opera and Royal Ballet. This time he will offer classicial music concert with the Santa Cecilia Orchestra, conducting a selection of works from Puccini, Rachmaninoff and Rimsky-Korsakov.

The Vienna Philharmonic
German-born pianist and conductor Christoph Eschenbach will lead the Vienna Philharmonic on a concert tour to China's Hong Kong and Macao in the autumn of 2011. The programs for the concerts include compositions by Brahms, Mozart, Bruckner, Mahler and Beethoven. Although the orchestra has moved with the times, it remains faithful to traditional principles by retaining its autonomy and the subscription concert series as the artistic, organizational and financial basis of its work.
