Sixth US-China 'Dialogue' announced for July

The US Treasury and State department today announced that the sixth meeting of the US-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue (S&ED) will be held in Beijing in early July.
Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew and Secretary of State John Kerry will join their respective Chinese co-chairs, Vice Premier Wang Yang and State Councilor Yang Jiechi, along with members of the Chinese delegation and their US colleagues, according to the announcement.
The Dialogue will focus on addressing the challenges and opportunities that both countries face on a wide range of bilateral, regional and global areas of immediate and long-term economic and strategic interest, and will follow up on discussions Lew had with China's leadership today in Beijing and Kerry had in Beijing in February, the announcement said.
