The final section of rock gave way in the Hufengling Tunnel on Sunday, marking a major step in the construction of Harbin-Mudanjiang high-speed rail line in Northeast China. The line, designed for trains running at speeds of up to 250 kilometers per hour between Harbin and Mudanjiang is expected to be complete by the end of next year.
