"The Chinese government has called for the building of a water-saving society. As the world's largest provider of pumps and equipment that treats and transports water, Xylem is committed to addressing this critical need. Through organizing such an event, Xylem sincerely hopes that more and more people will be aware of the tough environmental situation and join us to protect valuable water resources," Lv added.

In 2009, the company, in cooperation with the China Women's Development Foundation, launched the Watermark in China event in support of drinking water and sanitation construction projects in China, with a total donation of $2.9 million.

"Nature for Water' is the theme of the 2018 World Water Day, which explores how nature can be used to overcome water challenges in the 21st century.
