Nanning has recently issued the Implementation Plan for the Recognition of High-Caliber Talents, detailing the evaluation and stimulation methods for talents, which are divided into five different levels.

According to the document, recognition is not subject to limitations on nationality or household registration. Anyone having a full-time job at a Nanning enterprise or public institution, or working in Nanning for more than three months annually can apply.

There is no age limit for A-level talents, including Nobel laureates, academics, and top-notch university professors. B-, C- and D-level talents can be no older than 60, while E-level talents should be younger than 40.

Recognized talents can enjoy preferential policies related to buying houses, enrolling their children in school, and receiving medical treatment. A-, B-, C-, D-, and E-level talents will receive house purchasing subsidies of up to 2 million yuan ($298,365), 1.2 million yuan, 600,000 yuan, 400,000 yuan, and 200,000 yuan, respectively.

A-, B-, and C-level talents are eligible for free physical examinations and prioritized medical treatment, and their children can enroll in the schools they prefer. Children of D- and E-level talents can enroll in a school in their neighborhood.
