Sculptures shine in the desert at Gansu art festival

The 2rd International Desert Sculpture Symposium & Land Art Festival opened Saturday in Minqin county, Wuwei city in Northwest China's Gansu province on Saturday. A total of 72 sculptures in various styles are on display in the desert, attracting many visitors. The symposium has collected 2,327 works created by 538 artists from 63 countries and regions, and 46 were selected as finalists, which are in step with the desert environment and event theme.
