Wangqingtuo - a town in Tianjin known as a big bicycle manufacturing hub in China - looks like a graveyard for abandoned shared bicycles. A few years ago, Wangqingtuo's bike factories benefitted from the rapid rise of several bike-sharing startups. However, these factories are now falling with them. In the aftermath of China's bike-sharing bust, it remains to be seen whether there will be an industry upgrade of small and medium bike manufacturers across the country.
