Ministry sends medical supplies to Wuhan

China's top industry regulator has sent 20,000 pairs of protective eyewear and 5,000 medical masks to Wuhan, the center of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said the above medical supplies arrived at Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, on Monday at 8:10 pm by airplane. They were transferred from Qingdao, a city in East China's Shandong province.
The ministry has already urged provinces and regions to organize manufacturers to restore production to bolster supplies, including disinfectant and infrared thermometers, as part of its broader efforts to increase medical supplies to the hardest-hit city of Wuhan.
