Starry Lee Wai-king runs for re-election in LegCo election

Starry Lee Wai-king, chairwoman of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong, called on city residents to set aside their differences so that Hong Kong can start anew and rise to the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lee made the remarks on Monday as she declared her candidacy for re-election in the upcoming Legislative Council election. She will run in the District Council (Second) functional constituency for a seat she has held since 2012.
Three other candidatess have also submitted nomination forms to run in the same constituency. They are Lester Shum Ngo-fai, James To Kun-sun and Kwong Chun-yu. The nomination period will be open through Friday.
