As a result of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the 6th China (Quanzhou) Maritime Silk Road International Brand Expo has been rescheduled to Oct 30-Nov 1 in Shishi, a county-level city in the city of Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province.

The event was originally scheduled to be held on April 18-21.

It is hosted by China Chamber of International Commerce and is organized by the Fujian Sub-council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Quanzhou municipal government.

The expo will be set up in the Quanzhou Pavilion, Domestic Pavilion, Overseas Pavilion, Wine Pavilion and business areas.

With 1,650 international-standard stalls, it will provide a display platform for food companies across the province and even the country, focusing on the regions and countries along the Maritime Silk Road.

Due to the epidemic, the domestic branches, offices and agents of the foreign-funded companies and foreign institutions will represent the overseas businesses at the expo.

Also, during the event, a series of activities will be held, relating to food exports and imports and cross-border e-commerce.
