Beijing Dance Academy will launch a nationwide tour with the first stop at Tianqiao Performing Arts Center in the capital from Oct 28 to 31.

Over 20 young Chinese dancers will perform classic Chinese pieces which won top national dance awards, including traditional Chinese piece Dian Jiang Chun, or Crimson Lips Adorned, choreographed by Tong Ruirui, as well as new works choreographed by young choreographers from Beijing Dance Academy.

Veteran stage designer Ren Dongsheng will join in the shows with designs combing traditional Chinese culture elements and multimedia technology.
