Ceremony held for victims of fire in Kaohsiung

TAIPEI -- A ceremony was held on Friday at a funeral parlor to pay tribute to the victims of a deadly fire in southern Taiwan's Kaohsiung.
The fire accident that occurred on Oct. 14 in a commercial and residential building caused severe casualties, with 46 dead and 43 injured.
To date, 21 of the injured have been discharged from hospitals and the remaining 22 continue to receive medical treatment.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
