In his keynote speech for the opening ceremony of the fourth CIIE, President Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of high-level opening-up, shared opportunities, inclusiveness and development, which have been especially encouraging for foreign-funded companies, including Johnson & Johnson, that are determined to invest in China.

Johnson & Johnson is a loyal exhibitor participating in the CIIE for the fourth time. Each year, we have been expanding our booth, bringing more exhibits and introducing diverse new products. Behind these positive changes is our strong confidence in the China market and solid commitment to build a healthy community for all humankind, empowered by innovation-driven high-quality growth.

During our 36 years in China, we as a company have always been warmed by the breeze of China’s opening-up. From a wide range of measures including the CIIE, we have felt that the Chinese government has a strong resolution and execution to expand opening-up, promote trade and innovation, improve the business environment and enhance global collaboration.
