China Coast Guard goes on 'rights-protecting patrol' near Daioyu islands

A China Coast Guard fleet on Wednesday conducted a patrol in the territorial waters off the Diaoyu Islands, the coast guard announced.
"This is a rights-protecting patrol carried out by the China Coast Guard in accordance with the law," it said in a brief statement without giving further details.
