Books worth 1.4 million yuan donated to rural schools in China

During the launching ceremony, volunteers from universities taught online financial classes to students from Dianchanglu Primary School and Feixiang Primary School in Anyang, Henan province, discussing knowledge such as cost and profit, risk prevention and savings.
As a national public foundation under the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, GHSTF has been implementing the project of online voluntary teaching.
Mei Feng, director of GHSTF, said young students are increasingly engaging in financial consumer activities. To address problems coming along with the trend, the foundation and DBS are working together on the financial education project.
"We hope to help teenagers build the correct concept of wealth and master necessary financial knowledge so that they can grow up healthily and become an innovation force in the future," Mei said.
