"With the support of the government, we have made great progress in education in border areas," said Huang Huachun, a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress and vice principal of Chongzuo High School in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Huang stated that although a gap still exists between urban and rural education, more teachers — especially young ones — have injected vitality into education in border areas. Moreover, under the "double reduction" policy, folk art, ethnic musical instruments, calligraphy, and many more aesthetic activities have been established on campuses, providing students with more opportunities to relax and create. With more students participating in various school clubs, their social adaptability will certainly increase.
