The Wuzhen Internet International Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhejiang province hosted the third High-Quality Development Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 10 to 12. The conference revealed "The World Top 50 High Impact Researches of Traditional Medicine". Among them, 37 were independently conducted by Chinese researchers, 10 were international collaborations involving entities from the US, France, South Korea, the UK and Ireland, with China leading as the primary collaborator, and three were from international researchers from Germany, Canada, the UK and the USA.

The selection event was organized by Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China, the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Wolters Kluwer. The selection process examined five dimensions: journal influence, article influence, author influence, public influence and academic influence. These researches were selected by database indexing, expert recommendations and self-recommendations. The final selection process included multiple stages: online public voting, peer expert voting, and expert consensus. The event aims to promote international cooperation and exchange, as well as the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.
