The ASEAN-China relations are on the right track and the two sides must remain committed to the principle of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefits, said Kao Kim Hourn, secretary-general of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, at the ASEAN-China Future Relations Forum in Jakarta on June 19.
"Today, ASEAN and China have the most number of mechanisms of cooperation," Kao said. "The future of ASEAN-China relations, I believe, is on the right track and it is bright and full of potential,"
