Over 3.41m eligible for China's annual civil servant intake

BEIJING - Over 3.41 million applicants for China's 2025 civil servant recruitment have passed employers' qualification examination, according to the National Civil Service Administration on Saturday.
The figure means that approximately 86 applicants will vie for one spot, the administration said.
The eligible applicants are required to confirm their registration and pay the fees on the recruitment website between Nov 1 and Nov 6 before taking a national written exam on Dec 1.
In addition to the written exam, those applying for certain positions will need to take additional professional skills tests, according to the administration.
A total of 39,700 vacancies of central government agencies and institutions directly under them are open for the 2025 civil servant intake.
