China Eastern Airlines unveils Asian Winter Games Aircraft


China Eastern Airlines unveiled a themed aircraft on Monday at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport to celebrate the 100-day countdown to the 9th Asian Winter Games, which are scheduled to open on Feb 7 in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.
The Airbus A320 integrates elements of the Asian Winter Games, including the mascots Binbin and Nini, welcoming guests from all directions. It features a themed color palette of ice crystal blue combined with the iconic China Eastern blue, showcasing Harbin's ice and snow characteristics and the airline's role in connecting the world.
The fuselage design follows the winding graphics of the Asian Winter Games. Combined with elements of China Eastern's brand, it embodies the concept of connection, communication, integration and convergence, showcasing the unique charm and cultural heritage of both China Eastern Airlines and Harbin.
