Shanghai launches campaign to foster urban civilization, cultural development

Shanghai kicked off a citywide campaign on Thursday to promote civic values and urban cultural development, aiming to advance urban civilization through citizen engagement.
The two-day event, held at Shanghai Heping Park in Hongkou district, featured six main segments with participation from nearly 200 organizations.
Municipal artistic troupes delivered performances at the talent showcase platform, while the service station segment mobilized various organizations to provide community services. The honor wall zone will demonstrate outstanding cases and achievement in terms of the urban civilization development.
This year's initiative incorporated livestreaming space and interactive fitness zone. Professional consultants staffed a counseling corner focusing on contemporary social issues, with particular emphasis on youth mental health.
