International students explore Wuyi tea culture

Participants of the 24th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students recently visited a tea garden of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian province to experience the area's tea culture.
Nestling against the mountains and rolling with the terrain, the tea garden presented a stunning vista of undulating green waves. With bamboo baskets on their backs, the participants meticulously picked tender tea shoots.
Jan Zwahlen from Switzerland said, "When I stepped into the tea garden, my first impression was breathtaking!"
Ana Cristina Pallin Figueroa from Peru also shared her feelings: "I've previously learned about China's diverse teas online, such as Dahongpao Tea, Lapsang Souchong, white tea, and dark tea. Now, seeing them all at once in the garden, it was like stepping into a treasure trove."
