Taicang, a county-level city of Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, was in the spotlight on Sept 16 during the 2025 "Vibrant China Research Tour". The media tour explored the city's dynamic port economy and Sino-German cooperation, underscoring its resilience and vitality in high-quality development.
With more than 560 German companies, Taicang is known as the "Hometown of German Enterprises". Taicang Port ranks eighth in China and 20th worldwide for container throughput and links to over 120 ports globally, facilitating both Chinese and foreign-funded businesses to expand their presence in international markets.
