Linyi is making significant strides in international trade by leveraging the combined advantages of "market procurement and cross-border e-commerce" policies.

In the first seven months of this year, the city's combined market procurement and cross-border e-commerce exports and imports were valued at nearly 60 billion yuan ($8.5 billion), ranking first in Shandong province.

To accelerate the globalization of Linyi Trade City, the government has introduced stronger institutional support and upgraded services, creating a more favorable business environment.

Linyi Customs has streamlined e-commerce export procedures, enabling firms with complete documentation to secure both import-export and cross-border e-commerce qualifications through a single application.

Linyi has seen the rise of numerous e-commerce training and incubation enterprises. "African markets demand affordable plastics, the Middle East prefers glassware, and Southeast Asia favors daily necessities," said Zhao Xinsheng, an instructor at Shandong Hante Network Technology, which offers cross-border e-commerce training.

This year, the company has held over 10 sessions of training, many for traditional domestic trade businesses eager to expand abroad.

In the first half of the year, 1,260 cross-border e-commerce operators were registered, generating over 14 billion yuan in in exports, to South Korea, the United States, the European Union, and Association of Southeast Asian Nations countries.

Lin Tianyi, general manager of Shandong Lanhua Cross-Border E-Commerce Company, said, "As Linyi’s first provincial-level e-commerce incubation and training pilot, we plan 50 training sessions this year to prepare 2,000 enterprises for international trade."

The Lanhua Industrial Park now hosts major e-commerce companies like Amazon and eBay, along with logistics and financial service providers, helping local businesses enter global markets.

According to Lin Tianyi, general manager of Shandong Lanhua Cross-Border E-Commerce Company, the park has already attracted numerous well-known e-commerce companies, including Amazon and eBay, as well as supporting logistics, supply chain, and financial service enterprises.

Linyi has established eight cross-border e-commerce industrial parks, including Lanhua and Linyi Port. These parks play an important role in the city’s rapidly growing cross-border e-commerce industry.
