To ensure the supply to Macao, customs in Zhuhai prepared an emergency response plan by providing one-on-one services to enterprises to ensure the efficient and smooth inspection and release of fresh products, Hu said.
"We had to work overtime to ensure smooth customs clearance of goods to Macao," Hu said.
From Monday to Tuesday, Zhakou Customs processed over 300 truckloads of fresh products such as fruits, vegetables, and seafood, with a total weight of about 1,680 tons, representing increases of nearly 50 percent and 30 percent, respectively, compared to regular days.
