Watch it again: Special coverage of Shenzhou XXI crewed spacecraft launch
China sends its Shenzhou XXI crewed spacecraft to its space station from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Northwest China at 11:44 pm on Friday (Beijing Time). Chinese astronauts Zhang Lu, Wu Fei and Zhang Hongzhang carry out the mission.
According to the plan, after entering orbit, the Shenzhou XXI crewed spaceship will activate its rapid autonomous rendezvous-docking mode, and then take about three-and-a-half hours to approach and connect with the front port of the Tianhe core module.
