Fireworks plant blasts, casualties unclear

NANCHANG - An explosion occurred in a fireworks factory in East China's Jiangxi province on Thursday afternoon with casualties unclear yet, local authorities said.

The blast hit the plant in Shuangqiao township, Wanzai county.

Xinhua reporters are trying to obtain further details about the accident.
