Yang Jiang, a famous Chinese writer and the wife of famous scholar Qian Zhongshu, issued a statement on Sunday to oppose an auction of letters between her family members, which will be held on Monday morning by Poly International Auction Co. Yang also made a statement on May 26 to ask another auction company to halt a similar auction.
