It's a great honor for Kuwait to be selected as the country of honor at the China-Arab States Expo 2013, which has a great influence on strengthening the friendship between Kuwait and China and developing bilateral cooperation in various fields such as trade, business, investment, culture and sports.

Kuwait will hold a series of events at the expo including the Kuwait-China cooperation forum, a project matchmaking conference, a youth football game between Kuwait and China, and the dedication ceremony for the Kuwait-China Friendship Monument. Kuwait will also set up a National Pavilion for Kuwait to show its achievements in industry, trade and culture.

I hope this global economic event will contribute to the development of the overall bilateral relations between Arab countries and China, bringing benefits to people from both sides.
