President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang extended their condolences on Wednesday over the Taliban attack on a school in Pakistan that left 132 children and 16 others dead.

In a message to Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain, Xi said he had been shocked to learn of Tuesday's terror attack in Peshawar.

Xi expressed deep condolences for the victims and sympathy for the injured and victims' family members.
