Zhang Yimou to direct Olympic flag handover show

著名導(dǎo)演張藝謀在奧運會開幕當(dāng)天出現(xiàn)在雅典，他肩負(fù)著2008年北京奧運會開幕式的重任前去“取經(jīng)”，張藝謀帶去了12名中國美女，將在奧運閉幕式上參加奧運會會旗的交接儀式。

China's most famous film director Zhang Yimou has flown to Athens to prepare a show for the closing ceremony of the Athens Olympics.

The eight-minute show will come after the handover of the Olympic flag to the Beijing Olympic Committee.

Zhang Yimou and his team started to select the actors and actresses two months ago, just after the release of his new film "House of Flying Daggers."

This is the second time that the director has worked on an Olympics-related program. He has shot the promotional film for Beijing's bid to host the 2008 Olympics.
