US Pacific Command chief William Fallon
examines Chinese amphibian armored vehicles in Zhanjiang, South China's
Guangdong Province September 10, 2005. Fallon is here, at the invitation
of Guangzhou Military Area Command chief Liu Zhenwu, for his first China
tour after assuming his current post. The trip also takes him to Beijing,
Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, Xinhua News Agency said.
