第二天碰到Joe，問我有沒有去，我把實(shí)情跟他解釋。他聽完后說： "No skin off my nose." 我不懂，只好怔怔地望著他，心想，他大概以為我是"葉公好龍"吧。
回家查了俚語詞典，才知道skin off one's nose是與某人有關(guān)的意思。Joe是在說我去不去其實(shí)"不關(guān)他的事"，他只是順便問一下罷了。
