感恩節(jié)大家在美國(guó)朋友 Bob的家里聚會(huì)。Bob 夫婦每年都會(huì)邀請(qǐng)親朋好友去他們家，大家相互都很熟了，要是誰(shuí)沒(méi)有來(lái)，大家都會(huì)詢問(wèn)一下原因。有一個(gè)朋友Audun 能吃能喝能說(shuō)，大家都很喜歡他?？墒沁@次Audun遲遲未到，我建議是否打個(gè)電話過(guò)去催一催。Bob 說(shuō)不必了，“He's got a turkey on his back.”
原來(lái)，“Have a turkey on one's back” 是喝醉酒或吸毒成癮的意思。當(dāng)然我們都知道Audun 只是貪杯而已，他是不會(huì)去吸毒的。
