BEIJING - China's anti-corruption chief, He Guoqiang, has called on his colleagues to further study and promote the nation's Olympic experience in fighting corruption.

He, a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee's Political Bureau and head of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, made the remarks in his preface to a newly published collected works on anti-graft efforts during the organization of the 2008 Olympic Games.

Chinese President Hu Jintao has also issued instructions calling for promotion and adoption of such experience in other major activities and construction projects.

A thorough supervision of the entire organizing process of the Olympics had ensured that all work was done in a standardized, orderly, transparent and efficient manner, said He.

He stressed that the experience should be transformed into workable regulations and procedures to enhance the anti-corruption work.

The promotion of the Olympic experience would enhance the confidence of the Chinese society and party members in its anti-corruption fight, and improve the country's international image, said He.
