國(guó)際原子能機(jī)構(gòu)（IAEA）副總干事戈?duì)柕率┟芴?月16日在該機(jī)構(gòu)理事會(huì)演講的草稿顯示，伊朗已承認(rèn)，他們運(yùn)用钚的實(shí)際時(shí)間比他們最初向該機(jī)構(gòu)所承認(rèn)的要長(zhǎng)好幾年。外電報(bào)道如下：Iran
has admitted to experimenting with producing plutonium, which can be used
for atomic bombs, much more recently than it originally told the U.N. nuclear watchdog, according to a
draft U.N. speech.
Iran had first told the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that
its last experiments with the reprocessing of plutonium took place in 1993
but revised that date to 1998, according to a draft speech deputy IAEA
chief Pierre Goldschmidt is due to make to the agency's board of governors
on Thursday.
The speech said the IAEA had asked Iran to confirm that one bottle of a
solution containing plutonium "had been processed in 1995 while the
solution in the second one had been purified in 1998."
Plutonium：钚，一種天然地放射性銀色超鈾金屬元素，存在于鈾礦中，對(duì)鈾元素進(jìn)行中子轟擊而人工制成。它是一種核輻射毒素，特別是能夠被骨髓吸收，并被用作一種核反應(yīng)燃料并用在核武器中。
據(jù)悉，伊朗核問(wèn)題一直是國(guó)際社會(huì)關(guān)注的熱點(diǎn)問(wèn)題。近兩年來(lái)，伊朗核問(wèn)題時(shí)起時(shí)伏，但仍未得到解決。IAEA主張?jiān)跈C(jī)構(gòu)框架內(nèi)和平解決伊朗核問(wèn)題，不同意把伊朗核問(wèn)題提交聯(lián)合國(guó)安理會(huì)和對(duì)伊朗實(shí)施制裁，以避免使事態(tài)進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)大。
