按說(shuō)愛(ài)運(yùn)動(dòng)是好事，因?yàn)檫@種嗜好不僅強(qiáng)身健體而且健康向上。不過(guò)凡事皆有“度”，不然很容易會(huì)過(guò)猶不及。運(yùn)動(dòng)也是如此，過(guò)度沉迷其中而冷落另一半，會(huì)把她/他變成“孤家寡人”。

Exercise widow refers to a woman who spends little time with her husband because of his frequent and extended exercise sessions.
“運(yùn)動(dòng)寡婦”是指因?yàn)槔瞎l繁和長(zhǎng)期進(jìn)行鍛煉而與之“聚少離多”的女性。

The exercise widow often wakes to an empty bed—a sure sign of a morning workout—and may find dinner plans spoiled by a sudden avoidance of anything heavy before a night run.
“運(yùn)動(dòng)寡婦”通常醒來(lái)就面對(duì)一張空空如也的床（這必定是丈夫晨練的標(biāo)志），晚餐計(jì)劃還可能因?yàn)槔瞎古芮安幌氪蟪源蠛榷蝗蝗∠?/p>

遇到對(duì)運(yùn)動(dòng)如此執(zhí)著的老公，老婆也只有欲哭無(wú)淚吧，這位“運(yùn)動(dòng)寡婦”就很委屈：

My husband...has become so obsessed with his exercise program that he has little time or energy for me. He goes to bed shortly after our children do and wakes up early to work out. I have talked to him about this. He makes an attempt to be with me, but then goes back to his routine.
我老公…對(duì)健身計(jì)劃是如此沉迷，他既沒(méi)時(shí)間也沒(méi)精力和我相處。我們的孩子上床睡覺(jué)后不久，他就跟著睡了，然后第二天早早起床進(jìn)行晨練。我和他談過(guò)此事，他試圖努力騰出時(shí)間和我相處，不過(guò)此后就又固態(tài)萌發(fā)了。

The male equivalent is, of course, the exercise widower.
當(dāng)然啦，若是有相同境遇的男子，則稱為“運(yùn)動(dòng)鰥夫”。

For Example:
My fella just puts up with being an exercise widower now, although it's taken some time for him to accept that.
現(xiàn)在，雖然我同事正忍著當(dāng)了個(gè)“運(yùn)動(dòng)鰥夫”，但他花了一段時(shí)間才接受了這個(gè)事實(shí)。
