The Pingtan Cross-Straits Youth Career Development Association held a New Year's party on Jan 26 to review the progress in the past year and celebrate the Lunar New Year with Taiwan entrepreneurs, Pingtan Times reported.

A report at the party discussed recent developments at the Pingtan Youth Career Development Association. The association aims to provide a platform for cross-Straits communication among young entrepreneurs in both Taiwan and the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone. It also encourages the construction of a common homeland by promoting cooperation on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.

Entertainment programs after the report included singing, dancing and poetry reading. Taiwan representatives staged popular Hokkien songs and inspired the audience.
