The 11th Cross-Straits Relations Symposium will be held in Pingtan city, Fujian province, on March 22, Chinataiwan.org reported in Beijing on March 20.

The symposium, organized by the Research Center on Cross-Straits Relations, will discuss the peaceful development of cross-Straits relations, as well as cross-Straits communication and cooperation.

Officials from the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and academics on cross-Straits relations will be present at the symposium.
