The Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce's Guizhou tour started on August 30.
It is a great opportunity for Zhejiang business people to learn more about Guizhou and seek business opportunities.
Guizhou has rich energy and mineral resources, is well-positioned geographically and has huge development potential. It has attracted many investors from home and abroad.
"Now is the right time to invest in Guizhou," said Guo Guangchang, chairman of Shanghai Fuxin High Technology (Group). “Zhejiang businesspeople have changed a lot in thinking,” Guo said. “Now in their minds, ecology is wealth, as good climate and rich resources are good for the development of the tourism industry and medicine industry in Guizhou.”
“Guizhou’s climate conditions are conducive to the growth of Chinese herbal medicine. It is an opportunity that I cannot miss,” said Hu Jiqiang, chairman of Jiang CONBA Pharmaceutical Co. “In the past two years, Zhejiang businesspeople have established 543 investment projects in Guizhou province, with a total value of 248.1 billion yuan ($40.58 billion),” said Meng Qiliang, vice-governor of Guizhou province.
Ji Hong, from the Investment Promotion Bureau of Guizhou province, introduced two programs to Zhejiang businesspeople, Gui'an New District and the "Five 100” programs, with the hopes of attracting more investment.
