CGGC-Myanmar Shwegyin Hydropower Station Dept makes donations to local school

On July 26, CGGC-Myanmar Shwegyin Hydropower Station Dept donated computers, reading books and notebooks to a local primary school.
For the first time in its history, the school had computers to assist the teaching. CGGC's donation was widely acclaimed by local residents.
The school, located in the Shwegyin Town, Bago, Myanmar, is a primary school founded by a local Buddhist organization for orphans who lost their parents in the typhoon in May 2008. It currently has more than 160 students. All teachers are volunteers. The education and life of the students are mainly supported by the Buddhist organization and social donations. And the learning and living conditions in the school are tough.
At the donation ceremony, head of CGGC-Myanmar Shwegyin Hydropower Station Dept encouraged the students to study hard and contribute to the society in the future. He also said that CGGC would continue to perform its social responsibilities and make contributions to the local social development and improving local living conditions. The school president spoke highly of CGGC's active role in charity for the interests of local people, and issued a donation certificate to the CGGC.
After the donation ceremony, students sang and danced merrily to express their heartfelt gratitude towards CGGC.
