The eighth Central China Exposition was unveiled on May 19 in the city of Sanmenxia, Henan province.

Liu Han, the associate counsel of the Hubei Tourism Administration, attended the exposition with a tourism delegation from Hubei. They gave an impressive demonstration of the key tourism development projects in Hubei to 500 investors.

Targeting the market in Central China, the Hubei delegation focused on the special features of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and the culture of the Three Kingdoms, which involved?ten cities and seven golden routes. Altogether, the Hubei delegation signed nine deals worth 21.58 billion yuan ($3.52 billion) in total at the three-day expo. The signed projects cover areas such as natural scenic spots, park construction and cultural tourism.

The exposition was jointly sponsored by the National Tourism Administration and provincial authorities. Given that the tourism industry has been booming in Central China, the Central China Exposition has become a crucial communication platform for provinces in the region to exchange information and accelerate industrial upgrading.

The ninth Central China Exposition is scheduled to be held in Hubei next year.
