On April 28, a memorandum of cooperation to build the China Aerospace Coal Gasifier Manufacturing Center in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region was signed between Beijing Changzheng Engineering Co (CECO) and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Economic and Information Technology Commission, Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group Corporation, Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group Co and Ordos Technology Company of Xinxing Heavy Industries Group.

The memorandum of cooperation will work to seize opportunities when Beijing is transferring industries outside of the capital. It will also implement a cooperation agreement between the economic and information technology commissions of Inner Mongolia and Beijing.

According to the memorandum, CECO will first transfer the characteristic manufacturing industry to Inner Mongolia. Relying on the contracting capability of CECO, the other parties of the memorandum of cooperation will provide supporting service for the project. Ultimately, the China Aerospace Coal Gasifier Manufacturing Center, with independent intellectual property rights, will be built in Inner Mongolia, in addition to a respectable well-equipped supporting system.

All parties will form a cooperation group to coordinate and solve problems in cooperation.
