Genhe: China’s coldest city

Genhe is located on the west slope of the Greater Khingan Mountains. It is the coldest city in China, even colder than Mohe county, the northernmost county in China. In other words, tourists can experience pure winter there.

Genhe has the lowest temperatures in China and the largest primitive forest in North China. A reindeer tribe lives deep in the primitive forest.
