He expressed his gratitude to STECOL Corporation for the construction of the infrastructure facilities and for providing employment opportunities for the local area.

He urged Tanzanian employees to learn from the construction experience and technology of POWERCHINA and said he hoped that through the joint efforts of both parties, the project will be completed as soon as possible.

Prime Minister Majaliwa also said he would urge the government and the owners to fully cooperate with the project construction, to ensure timely payment of funds and ensure it made its construction targets on schedule.

Divided into two sections, the main construction content of the project includes a modern automobile passenger terminal and a large modern freight terminal.

The passenger terminal includes a four-level multi-functional commercial building with banks, supermarkets and more than 70 retail stores, a two-level waiting hall and support equipment and facilities.

Meanwhile, the freight terminal includes repair workshops, warehouses, four-story hotels and supporting water supply and drainage projects, electrical circuits and facilities.

After completion, the project will help Mwanza build a comprehensive and efficient transportation system. The resultant smooth flow of goods and convenient transportation will promote the development of Mwanza's industry.
