After four years in the making, the book Memory of Feats was recently released, Karamay Daily reported.
The book is part of a series to mark the 60th anniversary of the discovery of Karamay oil field. It has been published to commemorate the elder generation's great contributions to the development of the oil field, according to Zhu Hexiang, a member of the Karamay city standing committee.
A book signing was held to mark its release on Oct 26.
According to an official from the Karamay government, a working group began compiling the book in 2011 and finished the work in July. The book series has recorded the lives of 81 oil workers.
