The hit BBC series "Sherlock" has provided a huge financial boost for the broadcaster, foreign media reported. The series is now its biggest selling export, licensed to 224 territories worldwide, it said. Financial results for the broadcaster's commercial arm last month revealed that BBC Worldwide had generated profits of ￡174m. A significant share of the profits was driven by the export of just four programs - "Sherlock", "Doctor Who", "Top Gear" and "Dancing with the Stars". (See photo)
據(jù)外媒報(bào)道，英國廣播公司(BBC)的熱播系列劇《神探夏洛克》為其帶來巨額收入。BBC表示，該劇現(xiàn)在是其最暢銷的出口節(jié)目，共授權(quán)了224個(gè)國家和地區(qū)播放該劇。BBC商業(yè)部門上月的財(cái)務(wù)結(jié)果表明，BBC環(huán)球公司創(chuàng)造了1.74億英鎊的利潤，絕大部分盈利來自于出口4部節(jié)目：《神探夏洛克》、《神秘博士》、《顛覆拍檔》和《星隨舞動(dòng)》。(見圖)
