Lu Xun Park reopens after one-year-long renovation, in Shanghai on Aug 28, 2014. The park is dedicated to Lu Xun, a leading figure of modern Chinese literature who lived from 1881 to 1936. It contains the Lu Xun Memorial Hall and Lu Xun's tomb. The park was originally built in 1896, following the style of the sports park in Glasgow, United Kingdom and designed by a British garden designer. Now, a square named "world literary masters square" with statues of Shakespeare among other literary masters has been built in the park, making it a memorial park with British style.
