Leaflets with information about swine flu are being distributed at Polish airports and sanitary service workers will be there, she added.

Earlier, the Polish Foreign Ministry has recommended that Poles postpone any travel plans to regions where the outbreak has occurred until it is totally contained.

The swine flu, which is believed to be a new strain, has killed103 people in Mexico. It has also infected 20 people in the United States, and eight in Spain.

Swine flu is a respiratory disease that infects pigs and does not normally infect humans. But sporadic cases had happened, usually among people who had close contact with pigs.

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced Saturday that the outbreak in Mexico and the United States constituted a "public health emergency of international concern."
