China, India agree to bring ties back to track of sound, steady development at early date

KAZAN, Russia -- China and India agreed on Wednesday to hold talks between their foreign ministers and officials at various levels to bring the relationship back to sound and steady development at an early date.
The agreement was made during a meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the 16th BRICS Summit.
